Trump is a clear and present danger

(wikimedia commons)
Can't you all see? All the guys who sit in the middle section of a certain local restaurant and who pile on with criticism of Biden and the Democrats over every little thing? Glenn Beck on the radio yesterday was blaming Biden in most harsh terms (of course) for inflation. Inflation does not happen overnight. It is a consequence of the decisions made by the Federal Reserve over a considerable period of time.
And while Trump tried to apply pressure to the Fed, our system is supposed to allow the Fed to be independent.
You see, the problem is that a president would feel urgency to get the Fed to do things in the president's short-term interests. In other words, to get re-elected. Trump at present wants to blame Biden for inflation because he'll do and say anything to simply get back into power. I will repeat: "Can't you all see?"
How many times do the sensible people among us have to issue warnings? We warn that Trump is merely a "performance artist" who down deep is a demagogue. He speaks constantly at his rallies and gets his name into the top headlines every day. His mug is put in front of us constantly. He needs to escape his tremendous legal woes. You don't really believe the woes simply come from prosecutors out to get him, do you? Isn't his misconduct on so many fronts totally documented?
How long does this nightmare have to continue for America? One of my fears is that it will continue until we see an uprising from the political left. This will happen as it always does when the so-called masses become aggrieved enough. Aggrieved about the everyday cost of things. I wouldn't blame them. We could have listened to Bernie Sanders more in 2016 and we'd be a lot better off today.
Trump is so irrational with so many of the things he says now, one must question if there's a judgment to be made that he has "talent." As a demagogue, to really have talent would mean you'd have to make some arguments that are at least close to the truth. In a sane society Trump would be marginalized by now. He'd still be famous. He'd still be able to get attention because this has been a learned behavior of his all his life.
At present he has clearly become so ridiculous, he should be a curiosity, belonging squarely in the realm of "reality TV" or "reality Internet bulls--t."
Glenn Beck
Is "reality TV" still a thing? I became a cord-cutter a while back. The Internet is most alive with political discourse of all kinds of course. You might say radio is even part of that. I sample the Glenn Back program from "iHeart Radio" which is on our Internet devices. I sample his show to see what all today's "conservatives" are saying about stuff. They have to stay on the same page with each other. They do face a risk to their careers with their sheer redundancy.
Ridiculous as so much of this is - "let's crush a bipartisan border deal" - it has reach. As does Donald Trump. And so in spite of the apparent insanity coming from the preponderance of conservative voices, we realize that Trump is the prohibitive favorite for the Republican Party nomination.
But the Republican Party looks nothing like it once did, n'est-ce pas? Oh, remember when the Republican Party had a nice big formal convention with its delegates? Pretty much like the Democrats who always follow protocol. Today it's all Trump as if there is no reasonable discussion, just masses of people turning out for the Trump rallies which media entities like "Newsmax" salivate over. Can't get enough of it!
Can you think of one single "rally" that Dean Phillips has spoken to? So there's nothing like an even playing field and maybe I wouldn't care if the voters out here in rural western Minnesota would just tap their logic. They cannot. The election of '24 is getting ever closer and with Trump still not having paid a legal price for his worst wrongdoing: his efforts to destroy democracy and to seize power Putin-style.
But we here in western Minnesota get dispatches from our congressperson warning us not about this, but alerting us rather to how we need to consider impeachment of Biden. And so I hear the more elderly men of these parts echoing this and putting down Biden for being stupid and senile and you know how it all goes. They listen to the likes of Glenn Beck: Biden is to blame for inflation. No nuance in the consideration of that at all. It's just Biden bad, Trump good, and we'd solve inflation with Trump back in power.

Focus on the Fed
Regardless of how the economic winds blow, we cannot accept such simplistic judgment. The main finger-pointing must always be with this thing called "the Fed." The very existence of our country could be imperiled if Trump seizes control of the Fed. Certainly you're aware that Trump and his goons like Steve Bannon are going to want to seize control of everything. An outright autocracy which would I'm sure have the blessing of our congressperson Michelle Fischbach, even though she wouldn't set things forth in those terms. Congressperson Fischbach voted against certifying the 2020 election results, and not even Tom Emmer did that. So she is an absolute full-fledger. Is there any way she could lose to a Democrat? No.
So you'd better be prepared to have "the talk" with your young children about how life in America may change drastically. And your votes will have made this happen.

Ubiquitous
The absurdities about Trump are hung up to dry in front of you every single day, even at 4 a.m. Saturday as I check Internet news. Here's a current heading for a story on "Mediaite": "Fox News host cuts into Trump rally to torpedo laundry list of false claims." Fox News? So even Fox News is trying to warn us now? And y'all have trouble listening? Have trouble recognizing this clear "firebell in the night?"
Will people like me be sent to "re-education camps" someday? Perhaps never to be seen again? We have made our bed - you know what comes next.
Nikki Haley doesn't have a chance? Not a snowball's chance in wherever? It's over. I don't even want to know what will happen to Biden if he loses, the draconian measures enacted by the likes of Bannon versus him. He may just "disappear" or have an "accident" like falling out of a balcony. Trump will have learned these tricks from his BFF Putin.

A pessimistic comment I submitted to Yahoo! News on Thursday:

Trump will never be "cornered" on any of these legal matters. It is baked into the cake. He will rise to the presidency again and then the U.S. will have lost its critical mass. Is Trump really going to appeal based on "cruel and unusual punishment?" I wouldn't bet against him, because he's like a cat that always lands on its feet. Oh, with the help of lawyers wearing suits and ties, or in the case of Alina Habba, she's "hot." And the media just smiles about that. In the end, Trump is entertainment but behind our backs he is treacherous. It may be too late. And if it's too late, why am I even typing this?

"JCB" responded:
You are typing it because it's not too late and Trump isn't some genius who can get out of every problem he has. The lawyers are incompetent, especially Alina Habba. By the way she's not hot. He already fired her for losing the case because he said he is interviewing other lawyers for the appeal which definitely has no chance of going anywhere.

"David M." responded:
Cool story except one thing: 25 % of Repubs say they won't vote for him now. Game over.

Tigers soar to 17-8 record with thumping of BOLD

A quite upbeat night for MACA boys basketball Tuesday. This in a quite upbeat season indeed. So it was an overpowering win by the orange and black over BOLD. Score of 85-62. Lots of points for the fans to cheer.
Holy mackerel, there is confusion already as I try to piece together the facts from online news sources. The "Minnesota Scores" site reports that the game was played at Bird Island. The West Central Tribune has the game played here in Morris. If I were to have the info wrong, critics of mine would be out in force. Do I have the score right? Can I count on anything from the other media?
One thing is for sure, we sure can't count on the West Central Trib for highlights that pertain to MACA. The newspaper has "stats not available" for MACA. So we're singing the "stats not available" blues yet again.
What really does that mean? Does it mean that the WC Trib wanted them but our coaching staff would not oblige? Would not pick up the phone? That's the impression that might be easily gained.
But not at all sure that's the explanation. Look, it's not as if the WC Trib isn't reporting about the game, as it most surely is with a heading that has the score. If it is reporting about the game and has all the BOLD stats nicely reported, wouldn't they want a nice full report with both teams? Especially considering that MACA was the winner in such an impressive way?
Why should we as Morris fans not feel "stiffed" or insulted by this? Is there anywhere else I can find the MACA stat highlights today (Wednesday)? Biscuits and gravy day at DeToy's, always special. Sometimes I get waited on by Kaylee Harstad of the MACA girls basketball team. I haven't watched the team in person but I sure assume she plays post!
The WC Trib has a four-sentence "article" about the Tuesday night boys game, so we learn that the Tigers led 40-18 at halftime. Turn out the lights, the party's over.
The second sentence? It gives us two standouts for the BOLD Warriors, the loser. So we learn that Jack Gross scored 17 points and also had seven assists. Also, that William Penkert had 16 points. We don't see any scoring list for the victorious Tigers. Who made our 3-pointers? Would be fun to know.
In theory the Morris newspaper could report such highlights on its website. The odds of that happening? You tell me. It would be child's play for the Stevens County Times to do this. What if I were still with the paper and fans were holding me responsible for these shortcomings? Well, I sure don't have to worry about it.
I enjoy continuing to be involved in trying to give some media attention to the Tigers. The opportunities are becoming steadily more rare. The West Central Trib in effect gives us the finger. To repeat: it's not as if the West Central Trib is not covering the game. It is. But it cares 100 percent about the BOLD highlights only. I can think of some choice words.
Yours truly has been covering the Tigers in the local media since 1972.

On no!
Well, this is a first. Just checked the kmrs-kkok site and now I see they report the two scoring leaders for BOLD. But they have no details for MACA! This is beyond belief.
Kmrs reports Gross with his 17 points and Penkert with 16. That's it! And this is from Morris-based media? "Alice through the Looking Glass," indeed. Does anyone here give a rip? I do, but how much weight does that carry?

Sterling record
The Tigers now have a 17-8 won-lost record. I have missed so many of the wins in terms of being able to report about them. Water under the bridge I guess. BOLD sits at 13-13.
The BOLD loss was not for lack of 3-pointers. Penkert made three of those, Hudson Vosika two. One each came from Matthew Jacobs, Maverick Kaufenberg and Gross.
Vosika put in ten points. Daylen Weber scored six, then we see Kaufenberg with five and Jacobs and Owen Baumgartner each with four.
Baumgartner with his nine reobunds led there. Gross had the team-best seven assists. Vosika picked up three steals.
"Stats not available" for MACA. The WC Trib does not even refer to our team correctly. They have us as "Morris/CA." Go sit under a cow, WC Tribune. It's owned by Forum Communications which once owned the Morris paper until they left ignominiously amid well-founded rumors that they were going to close the Morris paper. They did close the Hancock paper.
"Minnesota Scores" tells us that the MACA boys have one remaining game in the regular season, against Montevideo next Monday here. At least that's what they say.
Congrats to the Tigers. Just before clicking on "publish" for this post, I did a quickie check with the Stevens County Times site just to see if they might "surprise" sometime with at least a cursory timely effort to report on the Tigers. Way too much to ask. And this town just yawns about such things. I looked at the headlines on the site and it's 100 percent typical: all about UMM. I have tried wringing my hands about this. The norm drones on.

No dice
I submitted a comment to Yahoo! News this a.m. that was "rejected."
"Community standards?" It happens. What I wrote:

Trump continues to have the media eating out of his hand. Well, media would say the voters have put Trump in position to be taken seriously. Chicken or the egg? Media built up Trump disproportionately in the first place. Think back to 2016 and how even "Joe and Mika" suckered for his rallies and showed clips that helped Trump reach viewers with his demagogic skills which are enormous. But he is a demagogue. Now the media gives Trump a platform for all his spurious claims about the legal judgments against him having no merit. All along, most of us should have just wanted to laugh at him, to see him as an offbeat curiosity. But he's on his way to the presidency again.

Happy state of affairs at Faith Lutheran

Things going great at Faith Lutheran, Morris
It is middle of the night going into Sunday. Another Sunday. Another Lenten season which I really do not understand. I don't understand the little charcoal mark or whatever it is on the foreheads of people. I used to see this with some guests on cable TV news. I'd sometimes think they neglected their appearance, got careless and let this embarrassing thing appear on TV. I would get enlightened, as it was just part of the Christian superstition or voodoo experience. A little charcoal mark. I just don't get it.
A little thimble full of grape juice is supposed to be "the blood of Christ." People have a right to their superstitions or legitimate beliefs.
The reason I sound a little contrary to Christianity today - in the middle of the night actually - is that Donald Trump appears ever more menacing for us all. If the vast majority of us would just turn our backs on him, perhaps just start dismissing him as a total con man or mental case, we could move forward. But no. And Christianity has been a huge part of Trump's base for moving forward. Continues to this very day.
I have advised my Apostolic friends "beware false prophets." And yet I am the one who gets rejected, dissed, teased even by those who want to write me off like I'm some sort of pest.
Nikki Haley
What of Nikki Haley? Why can't Christian conservatives warm up to her? Although I would have policy differences with her I'm sure, she is a very warm, classy and honest person. Would find it refreshing if she were to be in the news every day instead of the "Orange Jesus." And I really do think most Trump supporters out here in western Minnesota view Donald Trump as the equivalent of Jesus.
"Beware false prophets," I tell people. Or at least I try. No headlines about Trump are going to discourage the fanatical "Christians" from supporting him, or from speaking about Joe Biden and the Democrats in the most insulting terms. But this equivalence between Christianity and MAGA is what concerns me early this morning, Sunday, as people get set to attend church again.
We have a curious situation in our Morris. The ELCA has two churches in Morris. The ELCA has taken tremendous slings and arrows for its reputation of being "liberal." The whole collapse began with the gay rights issue, but it has extended to other things. But while one of the two ELCA churches here, First Lutheran, has shown actual death throes, the other one has gained considerable momentum. That other one is Faith Lutheran, a church that long had a reputation for being riven with conflict. Times change as do people. Faith Lutheran has all the momentum now. Congrats to that church on how the old conflict is gone! Hallelujah!
I have some good friends at Faith Lutheran including the Uhoffs, Spohrs and McNallys. And of course others. I see them only rarely because we go to different churches, most unfortunate. Covid was of course an ordeal. We have drifted back to normalcy or normality or whatever the word would be.
But First Lutheran has not been able to get back on its feet. There are signs of resignation or defeat now. We'll be going to an 11 a.m. service and "borrowing" other area clergy for our services. This has got to be deemed strange. I sent an email to the Uphoffs yesterday (Saturday). I share it here but with three or four sentences omitted because of you-know-what kind of concerns.

Hello Gary and Karen - Congrats on the success of Faith Lutheran Church these days. I attended last Wednesday night because the First Luth. people were formally invited. I wasn't there for the meal but from the sound of things, it was a full crowd. If First Luth. had even attempted a meal, it would have been maybe 10-15 people. That's just the way it is now. I suppose we should ask why.

As I sat at Faith Luth. Wednesday, I thought about the First Luth. building and how very rapidly it is becoming outdated. The multi-floor layout is the problem. Steps and stairs everywhere you look, even outside the building as you enter. They are all over the place, and there was a time when we thought nothing of it - amazing! There are more older people now, plus more obese people frankly, and so going up and down steps is more of an issue. Obese people have trouble looking down, it's just a fact. People can get hurt navigating steps. Faith Luth. has absolutely none. Whoever designed the building was really looking ahead.

It is odd how First Luth. has fallen on such hard times, even if you disregard the building. There was a time when Faith had an image of struggling based on "conflict" there. Ugh, I hate that. I eventually found out that when Pastor Dell agreed to come here, he did so with the stipulation that a certain individual resign.

It looks to me like Pastor Emmy wants to avoid ANYTHING that might be seen as political. I think certain ELCA ministers are realizing that for their denomination to survive, this is the approach to take: just emphasize the gospel and the standard material. But even that is not so easy! Pastors are reporting getting complaints when they quote Jesus Christ from the Sermon on the Mount - really, this is happening - and this is because Jesus could sound a little "liberal" at times. Like Bernie Sanders! And I kind of like Bernie Sanders.

Some people in my church thought Pastor Dan got "too political" and I heard comments even when I thought his sermons were reasonable. One problem is that we have joined the Palestinian cause so strongly. Ever since the new violence there, I think this is a good issue to stay away from. Personally I do not approve of Israel. But ministers should steer clear. I think Emmy does very well emphasizing the safe things. The young families obviously enjoy her.

On Wed. night I sat back in the corner of your church and tried just to be inconspicuous. I did not go up for communion. Actually I have never liked communion. It requires some dexterity! And so many people are watching! I can do it if I have to. A young family with children came and sat right next to me and I appreciated that.

I wouldn't rule out simply switching and attending Faith. First Luth. was always the Williams family church but times change and personalities change. Actually Mom decided to affiliate with things on the EAST SIDE OF THE TRACKS! I have close friends at Faith like you, the McNallys and the Spohrs. I don't get to see you very often.

Unfortunately I wrote out a check to First Luth. in December. And now I hear we'll have services at 11:00 on Sundays, that way so we can "borrow" other local clergy like your Emmy. I assume the Faith Luth. council knows about this and approves it? There must be something in it for Faith Luth. I can't see you doing it just out of the goodness of your hearts. Faith Luth. could "absorb" First Luth. and you could always start two services on Sunday like First Luth. had for most of its history. But you might not even have to do that. I have told people that maybe the First Luth. building should have been turned over to the LCMC. That way it could keep its conservative members. I could probably attend an LCMC service and not notice any difference! So sad how gay rights disrupted everything so much.

I really don't like the 11:00 service time, just too late. Not my habits.

Oh, when I give money to church I never do it with the offering plates, I just periodically write out a check. Maybe just one check a year but it would be sizable.

I'll see you guys at DeToy's if nothing else!!! Oh, and Linda Anderson too!

God's peace,
Brian Williams
This image is from the Faith Lutheran Church website. In my opinion it underscores the overly-violet imagery associated with Easter. When did this trend start? Was it with the Mel Gobson movie? Why do we let Hollywood influence us so much? It's a "dream factory." I find Easter to be a good time to stay away from church. Who wants to hear about the literal torture of a man leading up to crucifixion? It has been observed that no human being could survive the torture and abuse that Christ received leading up to his being nailed onto the cross. Why do we subject our kids to this imagery? Let's allow our kids to celebrate Easter with a chocolate bunny instead! There's joy there.

Our country mesmerized by "wallpaper hanger"

The specter looms
Maybe it's an especially good time to be religious. I would say, in conformity with the Christian faith. And how do you define that? Used to be a pretty basic proposition. There was a pretty fair consensus on what that was.  I accept Christianity the way my late mother did.
I say it's especially important these days because the United States of America may be looking at storm clouds for our basic existence, getting worse as time rolls on. By the time we really wake up to the threat of the political right wing, its sheer power lust, it may be too late.
Will we become like the horse character "Boxer" from George Orwell's "Animal Farm?" Becoming aware of how he had been abused, but too late for his once-awesome physical strength to allow him to break away from the trailer taking him to the "glue factory?"
The media is always a compass with yours truly. Sort of my raison d'etre, so we must assess the media in connection to how it's juxtaposed with basic human nature. Is someone like Dana Loesch really against the Southern border compromise proposal that failed? In terms of her own independent judgment? Away from the limitations of having to take care of her own talk radio career? Wouldn't you really want to know her straightforward opinion from right inside her own head?

Towing the line
Well of course Ms. Loesch cannot say she favors the compromise bill. What could be more boring for her audience? She is not going to cut down her own career. I cite her specifically but she is totally representative of a whole class of "professionals" who do this on the radio airwaves. So-called conservative talk "sells." It is at its worst on radio but it has leached into the TV news/talk ecosystem quite profoundly.
Reason has more of a place on TV than on radio for some reason. You can watch the Joe Scarborough program for three hours in the morning and totally trust the viewpoints. Back when that show began, the talkers would have been aghast if they had known what the tenor of the show was going to be in 2024. Yes the show is reasonable for basically the whole three hours, but it's all in reaction to the total wrecking crew of America's right wing. The show is on defense.
And the right wing flexes its muscles because we the people have allowed it.

New cycle awaits
I am feeling the soothing tranquility of early Friday morning as I write this, before the cacophony of disturbed voices starts reaching a crescendo again through the media. And I'm talking the electronic media. There's the total drumbeat from the right as typified by Dana Loesch. Then we need the reaction to such voices also.
On this early Friday morning as we consume the avalanche of news and analysis from yet another chapter of this woeful mess - the Supreme Court chapter - the brakes simply cannot be applied to the steady advance of the political right with their national leader.
Their national leader reminds me of a line spoken by George C. Scott in the movie "The Last Days of Patton." I'm not sure if the real Patton actually spoke it. But Scott as Patton was speaking to some surrendered German troops in the immediate aftermath of WWII. The troops were bedraggled. Patton gave them some solace because he at least respected them as soldiers - you could see their spirits lifted as the American general shared a sense of camaraderie. Was this an inspiring scene? Yes, because away from the sheer disaster of the cause the German troops were fighting for, they were human beings with a sense of wanting to bond with their brethren.
Patton finished his little talk with a salute! He figured that most Germans went along with Nazi-ism because they just had to.
And what of Americans being led along by the "Orange Jesus" at present? Analogous? Unfortunately I really think so.

In the USA, 2024
So right now amidst the tranquility of about 4 a.m. Friday morning, I wonder what will happen next for our cherished country. Can Christianity do a turnaround?
Did George C. Scott over-act?
Don't worry, I have not forgotten the exact line I was going to share with you from "The Last Days of Patton." George C. Scott as Patton brought up the folly of Hitler and others in his mold, people capable of creating a mania of wayward enthusiasm. He called the despots "wallpaper hangers."
Wallpaper hangers. Think about it. Do you really want to be part of an America that gets caught up in such a thing? Please pause and reflect. The very early-morning hours are a good time to do this. Count your blessings while you can.
If the Federal Reserve begins a series of "rate cuts," we'll get another burst of inflation. And this one could put all Americans on their heels. The state of affairs could be ripe for a wallpaper hanger to come in and exploit. Trump may not be the worst. He could be succeeded by someone far worse.

Court fatigue?
Trump himself commands media attention because of his never-ending "appeals" through the court system. Does this bother you just on the face of it?
I mean, Trump just disses the carefully weighed judgment of high-level judges in their panels. He does have a friend in Aileen Cannon. Is the problem with Judge Cannon that she does not follow the news well enough? Many people do not. Was she following what happened on Jan. 6 and did she care? Is she squarely in the Trump camp? In his pocket? She is an isolated curiosity for now.
The political right wing has made huge inroads within our Supreme Court. You think it's funny that Brett Kavanaugh kept saying "I like beer?" I don't think it's funny, that or the testimony from the woman in his background.
But we here in Morris MN cannot be made to feel concerned about Trump-ism. We are a total extension of the Dakotas. The days roll on. Trump appeals ad nauseam until in the end, things are resolved in his favor. Are all the appeals wearying in themselves? A downer for America to follow? I share as much in a comment posted with Yahoo! News. The comment drew a lot of notice and response. I share my comment here along with a number of responses to it.

Here's a question I do not see asked: Is it demoralizing for us all that a major national leader is so inclined to "appeal" all the time? He questions the judgment of highly respected judge panels who really are trying to be fair. Shouldn't we all assume they are striving for fairness? Trump is so quick to get in their faces, in effect, and say "I'm going to a higher level."

"Ginger" responded:
What Trump does is show his middle finger at the laws, courts and judges so it's time to tell him in no uncertain terms that the answer is NO.

"Jo" responded:
Because as we've seen throughout his reign of terror. NOTHING is fair unless it is fair to only him.

"Paul C." responded:
Is it demoralizing to see the Democrat party weaponize the DOJ, FBI, intelligence services? The world recognizes that we have become impotent on the world stage and a real life Banana Republic. Even the Houthi's are having a hoot at the Bidenites.

"Tim" responded:
A Karen saying “I want to speak to the manager.”

"D" responded:
Because he wants to get his way, and when he can’t anymore get ready for some major crying and try to incite another mob.

"Rick" responded:
Unfortunately, in today's society millions upon millions don't trust the judiciary precisely because they do not think judges are fair, and instead think that judges rule in line with the philosophies of the party that appointed them. In some ways that is true, but not in corrupt ways. A liberal is going to appoint more liberal judges, a conservative more conservative judges. So we shouldn't be surprised when a liberal judge rules in a way that, though liberal, is an honest application of what he believes is correct, just as for a conservative judge. I think the days of expecting judges to agree on principle much of the time went out by at least the 1970s.

"Terrie" responded:
Yes, that’s part of the damage he is doing. His constant undermining of every office of government (except himself, of course) is definitely inspiring “if there’s smoke, there must be fire” thinking among those who are looking for excuses to keep supporting him.

"Dick" responded:
Because he’s the “Karen” of Presidents and doesn’t have the sense of a pissant as my dad always said!.

"Michael" responded:
They are not fair. Far from that. They are told what to do. This is America and if you have good reason for appealing, you are granted an appeal.

Someone who goes by "Name" responded:
Trump probably thinks he'll receive favorable treatment from the "conservatives" on the court especially including the 3 that he appointed to the highest court. Hopefully all justices will place their loyalty to the Constitution, the country, truth, the rule of law and the American people over any politician or party in determining their judgment.

"Pa Pepe Roday" responded:
Whether or not you like Trump personally or politically, any fair minded person can see that he’s not being treated fairly in this process. I can’t see how this whole situation won’t boost Trump’s poll numbers. His crowds will grow larger and he’ll attract more independent voters. This will backfire on the Democrats BIG TIME. Unfortunately for the Democrats - inflation is a constant reminder of their failures. Every day we are reminded. $8 for a dozen eggs. $100 to fill up my tank. $150/month water bill. Very few things are still affordable - Car insurance ($23 per month from Insurance Panda) and gym ($20/month from Planet Fitness). But I’m sure those will go up soon thanks to Bidenflation. Trump is exactly who we need. Love him or hate him, nobody can deny that he will not put up with any nonsense from overseas. Our adversaries fear him that’s why they want to arrest him.

"Carl" responded:
Brian, face it, the Antichrist believes “he’s” the higher/highest level/power! Let’s just get him in prison where he belongs, before 01-November-2024!

"Montgomery" responded:
Well said!

"GOP Kleptocracy" responded:
No president in history has ever been indicted for criminal behavior - until trump. He did not stop at one indictment, he has FOUR! No idea how anyone can support a criminal con man.

 "MooGoo" responded:
That's always been his game. He's the king of SLAPP lawsuits and he routinely uses appeal and delay to avoid punishment. He's just extended the approach to his CRIMINAL legal problems. But agree, he doesn't believe justice applies to him, only the little people.

"David S." responded:
God bless and protect President Trump, his family and friends. God will soon destroy the satanic communist-democrat party and cult followers.

"Oracle" responded:
I wouldn’t call Trump a major leader. I know others would, but I think he’s a joke. Looosah!

"Funakoshi" responded:
He has to attack them and appeal to make them appear illegitimate and continue the lie that it is a witch hunt.
Judge Aileen Cannon

"Doug" responded:
You want to outlaw appeals? Seems an overreaction.

"Popeye 1250" responded:
Brian, anyone has the right to make an appeal.

"Chris" responded:
No, he think Judge Cannon is a great judge.
